Hello, my name is Stacy Huber. I am in my 29th year of teaching ELA 8-12 at Irene-Wakonda. I am renewing my teaching certificate and getting two new granddaughters has renewed my incentive to be a better teacher of young people. Go Yotes!
Hello, my name is Marni Lamont. I have been teaching in Special Education for 16 years in the Aberdeen Public school district. I currently teach in the 4th and 5th grade resource room.
Hello, my name is Sheila Ryker. I am from Red Rock Central. I teach Title I and I am also the District Literacy Lead. I work with kids in grades K-4. I have been the Title I teacher for 23 years. I love what I do.
My name is Amanda Neville, and I am a School Counselor at Brookings High School. Our high school serves students in grades 9 through 12 and has right around twelve hundred students. I have been a School Counselor for twenty-one years, and this is my fourteenth year here at Brookings High School. It has been a place where I have grown right alongside the students I work with, and I am grateful for the chance to support so many different personalities and paths. I truly enjoy being part of the academic, personal, and social-emotional pieces of a student’s journey. No two days look the same, and that is something I appreciate. It keeps me learning, listening, and connecting in ways that feel meaningful. Outside of work, I value my time with family more than anything. The simple moments tend to be the ones that matter most. I try to stay present for them because, as the saying goes, the days are long but the years are short. The older everyone gets, the more I find that to be true.

Hello ALL I'm currently teaching for the Douglas School District as a computer teacher. I've taught all sorts of things for all sorts of schools including private, homeschool extensions, and public for 30s yrs. Now I'm at a point of wanting to enjoy a new stage of life - grandparenting and traveling or may even start a jazz combo (I play trumpet, piano, guitar) and write a book. Life is short.
Hello! I am currently in my 20th year teaching. I've taught special education for 12 years and I'm on my 8th year at our elementary school. I am happily married with three boys and two dogs.
